Having attended Catholic school throughout her life, it was important to Claire that she choose a college that would allow her to continue to grow academically, personally and spiritually. She felt called to attend Ohio Dominican University, a place that, in no time, began to feel like home. In addition to being a Catholic university, Claire says the small, welcoming campus community and the relationships she’s been able to develop with classmates, faculty and staff make her feel as though she’s cared for and that she’s important. Today, Claire is thriving at ODU and is heavily involved on campus, including serving on the university’s Campus Ministries Student Leadership Team. For her, this has been a way to not only share her faith with others, but to grow in her own faith. She is now working toward her goal of securing a career in the healthcare field as a physician assistant or physical therapist so she has the ability to touch someone’s life on a daily basis. Because of the generous support of donors, Claire has been able to pursue a life-changing education, create memories and relationships that will last far beyond graduation, and experience profound personal transformation. Because of donors, her life has been changed forever.
